Price Range:Technically this is not a restaurant but rather a food co-op with a cafe. Erie has few vegetarian restaurants and no vegan restaurants of which I am aware so this is a close as it gets. The food is fresh, affordable but most importantly delicious.

Name: Ming's "Kingdom of Vegetarian" is vegan.
Location: It's located at 129 North 11th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107 The phone number is (215) 413-2290.
Review: The service is good (we were served by Ming himself), the restrooms are spotless (important detail), and the prices are inexpensive. A nice bonus was the hot towels to wipe one's hands. The food is Asian; the selection is pretty broad. My favorite dishes were the Sesame Chicken and the Pork in a peanut sauce. The egg drop soup was excellent -- not too spicy, not too bland.

Price Range: Affordable ($10 - $15 per meal)
Fare: Eurasian, mixed.
Review: It has a really huge menu. It si very easy to dissect what is vegan because all vegan items are marked clearly. The food is excellent. Anybody could eat there. They have everything from vegan Eurasian stuffed tofu to London Broil.

Willow Grove

Fare: All Vegetarian/Much Vegan and Fabulous!!!!!
Price Range: Affordable ($10 - $15 per meal)
Review: Horizons has the most wonderful vegetarian food in the entire world. The chef is a wizard with seitan, and I highly recommend the grilled seitan steak. Many of their soups are vegan and all of their food is vegetarian. A must-try for anyone who is in the Philadelphia area!
