With Pictures!
The long awaited Fred Pictures are here! We spent Saturday bathing dogs and we snapped these shots before they went and rolled around in the dirt and got all dirty again. We're thinking about dying Fred black so we doesn't look so dirty. (Well maybe not) There's good and bad news in this update. The good news is that Fred has adjusted well to domestic life, but not without a few wrinkles. Fred decided that he wasn't done with his wandering days and was heading over the fence at every available opportunity, of course we didn't know that until we were finishing the fencing project. With the completion of Pupcatraz the dog's wandering days were over! It's been three weeks since Fred and Denise's dog Taz went "over the wall".
The bad news is that it doesn't look like we'll be able to take care of Fred's heartworms any time soon. The Vet said it would cost almost $300 and that's just not going to happen any time soon. We still have to get him fixed as well, he's marking his territory with reckless abandon. We don't know when we'll be able to afford to get him fixed and or de-wormed but for the moment he happy and as healthy as can be.
